| JoHannes Michelsen provided a demonstration of his technique for turning a hat on the wood lathe. The demo was November 19th 2008 at the Bozeman high school wood shop. As part of the admission each attendee was given a raffle ticket to have a chance to win the hat JoHannes created in the demo. George Stanislao won the raffle for the large hat and Ken Emerson won the small hat and Wayne Hansen won the tool handle. It was estimated that 800 to 1000 students were able to watch part of the demo. You can check out JoHannes' web site at http://woodhat.com/
