  • The meeting night is the second Tuesday of the month. The business meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and the general meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. As always guests are welcome and be sure to bring your latest work for show and tell.

  • The Rotary Club used to receive a turned gavel from John Montagne every year for the incoming president.
Gavel made by John MontagneWith John's passing the group feels that we should step in and take over this in John's memory. The November meeting featured Gordon McMullen demonstrating how to make a gavel. Tom Robinson found this source for instructions. It has been proposed that we make a supply of gavels to give away to this organization in John Montagne's memory. If you would like to create a gavel we can donate several to the organization. The Rotary club intends to use a 4 1/2" long brass plaque around the head with your name and the recipent. Please make the head large enough so the circumference is large enough for this plaque.

  • Free turned wooden bowls. See how you can get a free artistic wooden bowl or turned item.

  • The library is a resource for guild members. The library is brought to each meeting. If you have books/DVDs/Videos that you would like to share you can donate them to the library or loan them and retain ownership.
